April 2020 anniversary: the 100th brew is bottled!
Hard to believe. After only 4 years the 100th brew is finished and bottled. Of course there was something special. A porter with lots of "chocolate malt" and of course only English hops. Very drinkable with 5.4% alcohol. A first drinking sample had a lot of coffee and roasted aromas. Now you can be excited to see how the flavors develop ....
September 2019 German Hobby Brewery Championship in Stralsund
The “Störtebeker” brewery hosted the 3rd German Championship on September 14th. A super event with a total of 150 participants and very strong “competition”. Even if it wasn't enough for the podium, I am very satisfied with 51.6 points. The winner had 64.2 and the third 59.9 points. Since the average score of all participants is 41 out of 80 possible points, I am certainly represented in the upper quarter.
